From May 23rd to 25th, 2025, the Rosemont Convention Center will be transformed into a cultural, artistic, entertainment, and gourmet hub celebrating the best of Turkish culture and heritage with the Turkish Festival. Zakat Foundation of America, a leading and highly regarded NGO in the United States and over 45 countries, is proud to sponsor the festival for the second year in a row. Over 30,000 people are expected to be in attendance.

The goal of the Turkish Festival is to cultivate, celebrate, and share the vibrant tapestry of Turkish culture.

The festival includes exciting activities for all ages and families. In the bazaar, attendees can peruse dozens of vendor booths featuring delightful arts and crafts, gourmet treats, traditional clothing, and authentic Turkish goods.

The entertainment venue will include Whirling Dervishes dancing, poets, dance teams, singers, and musicians, among others. Children of all ages can enjoy the special Kids Zone while working on craft projects geared for their age group.

  • Art exhibitions will feature wood painting and carving as well as Ebru marbling.

  • Food will be abundant at the festival, appealing to every taste and food interest. Famous chefs such as Ayvaz Akbacak, Fatih Akdeniz, and Ramazan Bingöl will be offering cooking shows, short courses, and, of course, their signature culinary delights.

Beyond exciting shopping, activities, and delicious cuisine, the Turkish Festival also holds and promotes educational and inspiring panels and discussions. These sessions are included in the ticket price and feature special sessions for women and youth empowerment. There are over a dozen unique presentations by renowned authors, speakers, and cultural leaders who will motivate, spark interest, and educate in their specialties. Muslim singles can also participate in a matchmaking event presented by MyKismet Matrimonial.

The festival runs Friday-Sunday, May 23rd to 25th, from 10:00 am-10:00 pm daily at the Rosemont Convention Center: 5555 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL 60018.
