The Turkish Festival: A Cultural Heritage Convention is a vibrant celebration of Turkish culture, uniting traditions, art, music, and cuisine in one immersive experience. Founded as a cultural bridge between Türkiye and the United States, the festival creates an inclusive space where communities gather to experience, learn about, and celebrate the richness of Turkish heritage.
After two successful three-day festivals at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, the festival enters an exciting new chapter in 2026. This year, the celebration moves to the Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Illinois, taking place over two dynamic days on August 1–2, 2026.
Launched in 2024, the festival welcomed more than 10,000 attendees in its inaugural year — a remarkable debut that drew communities from across the United States. The 2025 festival built on that momentum with even greater attendance, expanded entertainment, and a broader showcase of authentic traditions. From high-energy stage performances to immersive cultural exhibits and increased vendor participation, the first two years firmly established the festival as one of the Midwest’s most anticipated cultural gatherings and a growing platform for intercultural dialogue.
Organized by Ertugrul USA, the festival features a dynamic lineup of live performances, traditional Turkish music, traditional dance showcases, and an expansive marketplace highlighting authentic Turkish arts and crafts. Each element is thoughtfully curated to preserve heritage while engaging new generations.
From the rhythm of traditional drums to the aroma of Turkish Café and freshly prepared kebabs and the sweetness of baklava, visitors are immersed in an unforgettable celebration of culture and hospitality. Guests enjoy an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine, reflecting centuries of culinary tradition and the warmth that defines Turkish hospitality.
A major highlight of the event is the Turkish Heritage Convention, which brings together distinguished scholars for engaging discussions on Turkish history, culture, and the historical and cultural role of Islam in shaping civilization. This academic platform fosters deeper cultural understanding while encouraging meaningful dialogue across diverse communities.
As the festival moves to the Tinley Park Convention Center in 2026, attendees can expect a thoughtfully designed, high-impact two-day experience that maximizes programming, participation, and engagement in a vibrant new setting.
Now entering its third year, the Turkish Festival continues its mission to preserve heritage, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and inspire future generations.
Join us August 1–2, 2026, for the 3rd Annual Turkish Festival: A Cultural Heritage Convention — where tradition meets celebration and cultures come together.
