Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi

Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi is the founding and spiritual leader of the Islamic House of Wisdom (IHW) in Dearborn Heights, one of the largest religious institutions in the state of Michigan. (Established 1995)

Imam Elahi a powerful public speaker and interfaith leader and peace advocate in North America has been working passionately to build bridges of unity and brotherhood among the followers of all heavenly faith traditions.

Enlightening Friday sermons, messages on social media, interviews with the public press, and addressing intra and interfaith partners are part of Imam Elahi’s decades of inspiring local and national services. 

In addition to his seminary studies , the imam achieved a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan and a Master's Degree in Arts from Wayne State University in Detroit.
